Context
The Aix-en-Provence City Hall, an emblematic location in the heart of the Provence region in the south of France, has recently chosen to upgrade its reception system. We’re delighted to be working with such a dynamic City Hall committed to its 147,122 citizens.
Solution
The city has recently decided to make a technological leap forward by upgrading its reception management solution from eSirius to Orion, a cloud-based SaaS solution. This transition was done for 2 of the city hall’s major departments, the Civil Registry Department, and the Secure Title Department, which handle over 300 visitors a day.
The reception process is based on online appointment booking, simplifying life for citizens. On arrival, the rapid identification via our interactive kiosks regulates and directs the flow of visitors. Calls for citizens are then displayed efficiently via video screens.
Benefits
With its strong commitment to ecology, the City of Aix was reassured in its choice of ESII, as we guarantee the backward compatibility of our hardware. As a result, our former kiosks and screens are still in the offices and work perfectly with the new Orion solution. We have thus avoided discarding perfectly operational equipment by making an ecological, and let’s say, economical gesture. Aix-en-Provence city hall is leading the way in adapting to new reception technologies, demonstrating its commitment to its citizens and its determination to make city services accessible, efficient and pleasant.
