SMETA is an audit that evaluates the performance of companies on 4 criteria: working conditions, health and safety, the environment and business ethics.

We are proud to announce that we have successfully renewed our SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) certification! This achievement demonstrates our continued commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and our efforts in ethical business practices.

The SMETA label is the most used in the world. It allows companies to understand, evaluate and improve their performance in terms of working conditions and the environment. And thus, it gives everyone the assurance of working with suppliers committed to a sustainable vision of the economy.

The SMETA audit assesses the following main areas:

  • Working conditions: verification of respect for workers’ rights, safe and fair working conditions, absence of discrimination and compliance with collective agreements.
  • Health and safety: review of workplace health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
  • Environment: assessment of the environmental impact of our operations and our natural resource management practices.
  • Business ethics: analysis of our business practices, including anti-corruption, transparency and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
